• Resume content you type into the builder — name, contact details, work history, education and skills.
• Account and billing data if you buy a plan, handled by our payment provider; we never see full card numbers.
• Technical data such as browser type, device and anonymised usage statistics.
• Correspondence you send to our support address.

Unless you save to an account, your draft CV is stored in your own browser's local storage on your device. Clearing your browser data removes it, and we cannot recover it for you.

When you press an AI action, the relevant snippet of your CV is sent to our AI provider to generate wording. It is used only to return that result to you and is not used to train public models by us. Please avoid entering sensitive personal data you would not want processed by a third-party model.

We rely on contract (providing the service you asked for), legitimate interests (securing and improving the product) and consent (non-essential cookies and marketing email). You can withdraw consent at any time.

We share data only with processors who help us operate: hosting, database, AI text generation, payment processing and email delivery. Each is bound by contract to protect your data. We do not sell personal data.

Account and CV data is kept while your account is active and for up to 12 months afterwards. Billing records are kept for six years to meet UK tax law. Support email is kept for 24 months.

Under UK GDPR you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing. Email support@nufuresume.com and we will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and access to production systems is limited to staff who need it. No online service can promise perfect security, so we also encourage you to use a strong, unique password.

We will post any update on this page and change the date above. Material changes will also be announced by email where we hold an address for you.
